Karolee Zawislak and Larry Zawislak are both graduates of Osgoode Hall Law School, a law school considered the "Harvard of Canada". Karolee Zawislak graduated in 1984 and Larry Zawislak in 1985.

After graduation and articling, Karolee Zawislak was a lawyer at two law firms, and then for an extended period was a lawyer in the legal department of a large insurance company where she specialized in personal injury and other insurance claims until 1992.

After graduation and articling, Larry Zawislak was a lawyer for an extended period with a law firm. He was asked to become a partner after only a short period of time at the Bar. He served at this law firm in the position of lawyer and partner until 1992.

In 1992 the Zawislaks decided to pursue their dream of practicing together, leaving their positions to form Zawislak & Zawislak, which opened on June 1, 1992. They have proudly practiced together ever since.

The Zawislaks are members in good standing of the Canadian Bar Association. Karolee Zawislak has been recognized for her expertise in Personal Injury and is sought out for opinions by newspapers and television regarding Personal Injury matters. She has also sat on a Law Society committee dealing with Personal Injury.

The Zawislaks have always been very busy lawyers and have a wide range of experience. They pride themselves on being very approachable while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism. They both have extensive experience with respect to Court matters and Hearings and each has appeared in the Court of Appeal.
